In this teen rom-com where trust and betrayal collide, sisters Zee and Bridie navigate a maze of emotions and learn that love and friendship can emerge from the unlikeliest of beginnings.

So their mother promises when sisters Zee and Bridie Winters move a thousand miles up the east coast from Savannah to the tiny town of Middleton on the shores of Cape Cod. New friends. New loves. New enemies.

Self-proclaimed drama queen Bridie knows she’s found her soul mate when she meets Evan Wakefield at an audition for Middleton’s most selective theater class. Attractive. Dramatic. Charming. Evan is everything Bridie wants in a guy. They bond over their shared passion for the stage and their dreams of dazzling careers on Broadway. Before long they’re the school’s It couple, and Bridie knows they’ll be together forever even if they are only seventeen.

Meanwhile, younger sister Zee’s efforts to put herself out there and meet new people net her a new best friend as well as a sworn enemy. For the first time, soccer prodigy Zee has a legit social life off the pitch and discovers a new talent for photography.  

But when friends turn to enemies and secrets lead to betrayals and heartbreak, both Bridie and Zee learn that trust is a fragile and precious thing.
